Spotlight: Declan, 12

Lacrosse is more than just a sport for our motivated 12-year-old athlete — it's a way to stay connected to his dad. "Lacrosse is my favorite sport," he shares. "It makes me happy that I get to play because it's thrilling and fast-paced... It makes me feel close to my Dad."

The second oldest of four siblings, our middle schooler embodies the resilience and spirit that would make his father so proud. "I want to keep trying hard. My goals is to play on a travel team, for my high school, and maybe even in college."
