On May 18th, 2024, Milan Dinga (West Point '07), Nick Hill (West Point '07), Matt Vargas (West Point '07), and Mark Vargas embarked on the KEYS 100 Ultramarathon, Florida's renowned ultramarathon from Key Largo to Key West.

Their mission was to run 50 miles while also raising awareness and funds for the DWYERFIRE Goldstar Foundation. Established by Army veterans and West Point alumni in 2023, the DWYERFIRE Goldstar Foundation is dedicated to honoring CW3 Steve Dwyer's military service and sacrifice by providing mentorship and support to Gold Star Children through sports and fitness programs.

 

Throughout their demanding journey, they rallied support and generosity, raising donations for the DWYERFIRE Goldstar Foundation. These funds provide crucial support and mentorship to Gold Star Children. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to these compassionate individuals for their dedication in honoring Steve Dwyer and building resilience among Gold Star Children.
